Fares and discounts : who is eligible

Child : Child : from 2 years to less than 12 years

A "child" discount can be offered, depending on availibility on the selected route : about 33-50% on the adult fare.

Please note that "child discount" is not proposed for all Air Austral routes : consult our fare rules

Seat and baggage allowance :

Children benefit from the same advantages as adults concerning seating and baggage allowance.

On www.air-austral.com, the child must be booked with the person who will accompany him during the flight.

Comfort

On our long-haul flights, your child will enjoy :

• cartoons and musical channels ;
• special "child" meal: healthy and balanced. We invite you to confirm this request at the lastest 48h before departure : contact your Air Austral agency.

Travel documents

When visiting another country, a child must have his own travel document : valid, at the minimum, for 6 months after the return flight.

Take care of his eardrums : during take-off and landing, bottle ou teat will help him swallow. Swallowing helps to regulate pressure within ears.
