Can I travel with a pushchair?
Air Austral will transport your pushchair free of charge only for babies and children under the age of 2 at the start of the journey
You should take it to the check in desk. Our ground staff will then take care of it.
You can pick it up on the luggage belt upon arrival. If you have an umbrella folding pushchair you can keep it with you until you reach the aircraft door, this will make it easier for you to get around the airport.
In some cases you can take the pushchair into the cabin: if the airport infrastructures make it possible - depending on the type of pushchair and the space available on board.
Other types of pushchair (all terrain, pram etc...) will need to be registered at the check in desk and placed directly onto the “oversized” luggage belt.
Please check that no straps, handles or any part of the pushchair can come off or get trapped in the airport luggage belt.
Please note: the pushchair should be protected (in a plastic bag for example).
