Travel documents
Minor child, french national:
- When visiting another country, a child must have his own travel document : valid, at the minimum, for 6 months after the return flight.
- If the child travels accompanied by only one of his parents, he must have an official document proving the family ties if the name of the child is different from parent's who accompanies him.
Minor child, foreign national travelling outside the French territory:
These documents are necessary tochild abroad journeys if he is minor and does not possess the French nationality.
They allow the minor to prove his identity. These documents will allow him to travel abroad and to return on the French territory. Indeed, the child must have a document proving the regularity of his stay in France, which will allow him to return on the national territory.
