If you have any sports equipment to travel with on regional flights, an extra baggage fee will be asked at check-in.

With the exception of tickets booked at the Light fare (no baggage included), its carriage is included in the price of your ticket if it is the only baggage you wish to check (Leisure), or one of the two bags if you are traveling in Comfort or Club Austral class. Kitesurf, flysurf, kiteboard or traction kite - One bag authorized in addition to the baggage allowance (except for the "Loisirs Light" fare). The bag must contain equipment dedicated to this sport : its content will be checked at check-in.
Free transportation if the weight is less than 20 kg. Beyond that weight, additional luggage is charged.

The sum of three dimensions (length, width, height) is no more than 300 cm
On Airbus A220, the length must not exceed 180 cm for any equipment and the total length+width+height does not exceed 300 cm.

Transport regulation
The transport of any item presented below requires a preliminary agreement of the company.
To get the best quality of service, it is essential to indicate the transport of sports equipment with Air Austral commercials when booking your flight, at least 7 days prior to scheduled departure : 0825 013 012 (15 cts/min TTC)

Preparing your bicycle
Bikes must be packed in a protective bag or carton :
- Remove pedals
- Fix the handlebar sideways
- Deflate the tyres
