Any article belonging to the traveler that could be refused for any operational or regulatory reason cannot be kept by the airline.
Items below are prohibited on board and on yourself
Forbidden in checked baggage and cabin
- Corrosives, oxiders: acids, battrey containing electrotype, items containning mercury...
- Gases, disabling and incapaciting devices and sprays
- Explosives, ammunition, explosive charge, rockets, fireworks...
- Toxics: poisons, aetiology agent, weedkiller...
- Inflammable items: matches, lighter, house painting, fuel, gasoline, solvent,...
- Compressed gass: cooker gas, cartridge gas, aerosols containing substances toxic, flammable,...
- Radioactive goods
- Household articles: washing powder, detergent, remover, bleach...
- Small vehicules powered by lithium ion batteries such as hoverboard, AirWheel, Solowheel, Segway
Forbidden in cabin
- Firearms and imitations
- Ammunitions
- Sharp or blunt instruments or tools
- Liquids, aerosol and gels > 100ml
- From South Africa, tennis racquest are not accepted in cabin
Special rules for lithium cells and batteries
Forbidden in checked baggage and cabin
- Lithium cells and batteries with > 160Wh
Forbidden in checked baggage
- Spare Lithium cells and batteries external to a device
Spare batteries including power banks are forbidden for transport in checked baggage ; they could be allowed as a carry-on baggage only.
These articles must be individually protected to prevent short circuits by placement in the original retail packaging otherwise insulating terminals by using non conductive tape or placing each battery in a separate protective pouch.
Power banks are limited with a maximum of 2 articles by passenger. Their using and charging are forbidden aboard (+ l'image d'interdiction comme sur la page française)
From the 1st of january 2027 any power bank exceeding a 100 Wh rating will be strictly prohibited aboard.
Additional requirements and approval may be applicable to lithium batteries spare with a whatt-hour rating exceeding 100 Wh but not exceeding 160 Wh hence please revert back to your agency
Any articles which information is missing can be refused for transportation.

e-cigarettes including e-cigars and other personal vaporisers containing batteries are permitted in a carry-on baggage if they are individually protected to prevent any activation.
