Tips and advice to properly prepare your carry-on baggage.
Size and weight limits
Your carry-on baggage must not exceed 115 cm (height + width + length) : 55x35x25 cm ( pockets, wheels and handles included )

Any non-compliant cabin baggage must be checked in and transported in hold : fees may be applied.
Accessories accepted in the cabin
In addition to your cabin baggage, you can also bring 1 personal accessory of your choice such as: handbag, laptop bag, camera,...
The total dimensions to be respected are : 45x35x20 cm.
Flights operated on the A220, B787, and B777: 1 carry-on bag + 1 personal item up to 12 kg, to all destinations served by Air Austral.
Flights operated on the ATR 72-600 (in partnership with EWA AIR, e.g., Réunion <> Rodrigues): 1 carry-on bag or 1 personal item up to 12 kg

You are traveling with your baby ( under 2 years old )
12 kg cabin baggage allowance for infants who do not occupy a seat, regardless of their booking class.
If the dimensions of your bag are less than 115 cm (height + length + width), it is considered standard cabin baggage included in your allowance.
If your case measures more than 115 cm (height + length + width), you will be asked to submit a request at least 48 hours before your departure, as prior approval from customer services is required. The instrument will then be placed in an additional seat, for which you will be charged the corresponding fee.

Practical advice
- label your bag outside and inside with your: full name and surname, cell number, plus your address at destination, email;
- Check in as many items as possible in your checked-baggage and keep in your hand-baggage only what you absolutely need for your comfort during the flight;
- Pack in your hand-baggage the valuable items, important documents, jewels and money: travel documents, keys, cameras,...;
- Keep medication and medication orders;
- Do not take under your responsability any baggage of unknown person.
